I recently had an excellent stay at a little gem nestled in the heart of a bustling city in Morocco. This hotel was a true oasis, providing a comfortable and relaxing experience in the middle of the historic medina. First and foremost, the value for money was exceptional. The prices were affordable, allowing me to enjoy a delightful three-night getaway without breaking the bank. The attention to detail was apparent throughout my stay, with the staff going above and beyond to make sure I felt welcomed and taken care of. The location was simply unbeatable, right in the center of the old city, offering easy access to all the mesmerizing sights and sounds. The rooms, designed in authentic Moroccan style, were a sight to behold, with brilliant views overlooking the vibrant city. Each room was equipped with a bathroom, providing the necessary comfort and convenience. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast served with great views, the perfect way to start the day.
All was wonderful.

I liked everything about this place, from the tiny alleyway that leads to the front door, up the stairs into a most beautiful room and anteroom. The whole building is so nicely decorated and scrupulously clean -- totally up to western standards. Mr. Rachid and his staff do all in their power to make your stay good. Breakfast is tasty and filling. They can find a person to accompany you around the medina, which believe me, you need because it is a labyrinth and so interesting! They know a good restaurant close by, which serves tasty Moroccan food. I wish I could always stay in a hotel as welcoming , friendly and comfortable as this. The bed is superb (I only slept in the one, but I presume they are all the same, with good pillows. so important.) Ten stars!!

The hotel was perfect for our romantic escape. The rooftop terrace had amazing views of the city, perfect for a glass of wine at sunset. The staff was incredibly helpful, offering us a pick-up and drop-off service to the restaurant we booked. The location was ideal, close to all the key attractions but tucked away enough to offer a quiet and relaxing retreat. We also loved the gorgeous mosaics in the room, a true Moroccan touch.
We did find the plumbing to be a bit of an issue, with the shower struggling to drain properly and sometimes flooding the bathroom. However, Adil was quick to have it fixed as soon as we alerted him.

Lovely having breakfast on the terrace with a panoramic view of Fez.Tours can be organised through the Dar at a good price. You can also have delicious meals cooked.
A lot of stairs for me as I have bad knees.

Located near Seffarine square and very close to the leather dyers district, this hotel is in a prime location for easy access to tourist attractions. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooftop terrace offers beautiful views and is a great place to relax. The breakfast is sufficient, with a variety of local breads and eggs available.
The limited English proficiency of the staff may pose a communication challenge for some guests.

Mr Said and his staff went above and beyond what I would hope for at any category of hotel anywhere. They were polite, incredibly helpful with transportation, making sure we were taken care of at all times. Nadia is an excellent cool and our dinner on the rooftop of Dar Moula was memorable. Mohammed is also an excellent host who made sure we were comfortable and well-fed. The hotel itself is lovely. We felt like we were invited guests at a fine home. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Loved the rooftop terrace with beautiful views of the city. The staff was accommodating and friendly.- Great location for exploring the nearby attractions.- The breakfast served on the terrace was delicious and a nice start to the day.
The room was small and cramped. The beds were uncomfortable and gave us a sore back.

It was a beautiful building, close to the medina.
The only thing that was a negative was that the bed was extremely hard, but that seems to be a common theme in Morocco.

Very helpful and friendly staff- owner drove us to a lovely restaurant. In the morning we had an early train, and hadn't expected breakfast, but they got up early and provided it, then walked us to where we could get a taxi. Room was lovely - painted ceiling, beautiful furniture. View from terrace also lovely. We highly recommend the place.
A map of the medina showing location of Dar Moula (in more detail than map on Booked.net) would be helpful.
